Fatal 4 in The Valley

Yesterday, officers from the #ValleyBeatTeam conducted the first of many Fatal 4 operations across the beat. 

This led to many vehicles being stopped and multiple drivers reported for offences. 

The highest speed recorded yesterday was 45-MPH in a 30-MPH area which on any day is unacceptable but even more so when the road conditions are poor. 

The aim of these operations is to prevent death or injury due to any of the big 4 or other Road Traffic offences. 

Put simply, please take a second to consider how you may feel if someone you know, or love were hurt or killed as a result of carelessness (often for only a few seconds advantage).
